RMA REQUEST FOR DOMESTIC REPAIRS & SERVICE

If you require repair of a Newmar product, we have a staff of highly-trained, experienced service technicians to ensure your equipment is restored to the original factory specifications, and perform any updates whenever possible. All service repairs are covered by a one year warranty. For your convenience, we offer a flat rate repair fee on the majority of our products. The repair fee will be quoted once we receive the model number of your product.

To process the service and repair of your Newmar product in a prompt and timely manner, you will be issued an RMA number (Return Merchandize Authorization) to include with your package. Please retain your RMA number in the event you have an inquiry regarding its status.

To obtain your RMA, please send the information below to techservice@newmarpower.com:

  1. Model number
  2. Serial number
  3. Your return address (no PO boxes please)
  4. Phone number
  5. For payment we accept Master Card, or Visa for non-warranty repairs. Please include 16 digit card #, expiration date and 3 digit security code.
  6. If you have a UPS, DHL, or Fed-X account and want to use it for return shipping, include the account number and note which service you want (ground, 2-day, or overnight).

Upon receiving the requested information, you will be advised of repair costs. Once we receive your approval, a credit card authorization or alternate payment information will be required.

Please note that for warranty repairs, items 5 and 6 are not required, unless you require expedited or preferred return shipment.

IMPORTANT: Please write the RMA number clearly in large print on the outside of your package or shipping label. Include a note inside with your return address, contact information, and RMA number, along with a description of the problem or circumstances leading up to the abnormal operation of the unit. This will help to diagnose and repair your unit. Not including your RMA number could delay the repair process.

Your product will be returned to you via UPS ground. Warranty repairs are shipped at no-charge. Freight for non- warranty service repairs will be added to your invoice. Typically, repairs are processed within 3 business days. If you require overnight turn around, an expedited service is offered for a $35.00 additional fee. Non warranty and any expedited shipping fees (next day, 2nd day) will be billed to your credit card or shipping account.

In some cases, extensive damage, such as corrosion or burned circuit boards, is not covered by the flat rate repair fee. Certain models have no flat rate repair fee and must be estimated before quoting a price. We will contact you and advise before proceeding with the repair. Some discontinued, older models are no longer repairable due to the availability of components/parts, in which case, we will recommend a newer model as a suitable replacement.
