If your default Windows settings won’t access the controller, use a crossover cable to connect between your laptop and SPM, follow these steps to reach the SPMs IP.
The IP Reset Button is located directly under the RJ45 Ethernet connector on the side of the SPM. To perform a “simple” reset, use a paperclip or jeweller’s screwdriver (using pens or pencils is not recommended, since ink or graphite particles could rub off and get into the unit) to press and hold the switch for about 15-20 seconds, or until the left hand side LED (amber/yellow) starts flashing. Release the switch and wait for the LED (amber/yellow) to stop flashing and the right hand side LED (green) to resume its normal pattern.
